What does it mean by flexible program?
The Flexible Credential Program gives students lots of choices for courses and programs that fit their schedules. They can pick from over 1,000 courses, whether it’s daytime, evening, or both. There are also new learning options like micro-credentials that make improving your resume easier.

This program lets students learn while working part-time because some courses are available in the evenings or on weekends. So, you can build skills and improve your resume while still having a part-time job.

Plus, you can start the program in January, May, or September. This means you can choose the time that works best for you to begin your studies and fit it around your schedule.

Why is flexible program a wise choice for international students?
International students might be concerned about getting a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) once they finish their studies. However, there’s no need to be worried. If a student completes three courses (which equals about 9 credits) in each term, they’ll be seen as a full-time student and receive an official BCIT certificate that lasts for 8 months. This will help them meet the requirements for a PGWP, allowing them to work in Canada after graduation.

Additionally, this program offers a lot of flexibility. Students can choose to take classes during the day, at night, or both. This means they can balance work and study at the same time.

Regarding English language qualifications, some students might be concerned, but it’s not a big issue. Some programs don’t require a minimum level of English language skills.
