You can still enjoy this summer in Vancouver!

Already end of the August but you can still enjoy some fun activities in Vancouver. Enjoy sunny days before the coming rainy season here.

Vancouver is one of the most vibrant cities in not only Canada but the world. It boasts about its beauty and moderate climate, especially in summers. Millions of tourists come every year to experience the beautiful city. Vancouver is a port and because of this, the landscape of the city is attractive and delightful. This is a city where the land meets the forest and sea, making way for various exciting activities to enjoy the sun. If you are a student who just arrived here, or planning to come here to study or visit, this is the perfect time for you to plan your trip.

Urban Forest Train

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this fun train ride where, as the train passes through the forest. Get to know the amazing fun facts about the resident wildlife and snippets of Stanley Park history. Sounds interesting? Also, you can learn the names of the common trees and the variety of creatures who reside there. Timings:

  • Wednesday, Thursday – 11 am to 4 pm
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 10 am to 4 pm
  • Mondays and Tuesdays – Closed

The train will be open for the following holidays, so it is a good idea to enjoy it with your family and friends!

Sea Vancouver

Explore West Vancouver like never before. Enjoy the boat ride and experience the adventure! There are many boat tours like City and Waterfall tour or the City and Harbour tour and City and Wildlife tour. The wildlife tour is almost for 90-minutes. Capilano Suspension Bridge 

This is no doubt one of the oldest attractions in the lower mainland. It is a breathtaking experience to walk on the bridge while enjoying panoramic views of the rainforest and canyon below. This world-famous Capilano Suspension Bridge spans 137m (450 ft) and 70m (230ft) high above the Capilano River. People enjoy the thrill of a cliff walk. It is advisable to purchase your tickets online before you go. Don’t forget to take your camera for the beautiful pictures that you may click!

Museum of Anthropology at UBC

MOA is a research and teaching museum, is located at the University of British Columbia Campus. The courses in art, anthropology, archaeology, conservation, and museum studies are given in this museum. MOA houses close to 50,000 ethnographic objects, as well as 535,000 archaeological objects in its building alone. It has soaring architecture and amazing sea-to-sky views. It is known for its amazing collection of art and cultures. Spend your day watching the impressive collections of global art and artifacts.

Granville island

This is the perfect place to be on bright sunny day! This culinary and cultural hub has everything you need. It is a home for small businesses. The Public Market has everything ranging from grocery, food, and produce stores, handcrafted products, unique gifts, and souvenirs. It also offers a rich variety of take-out options for a picnic, or everything you need to make a special meal at home. The local artist’s galleries and retail shops here make Granville Island a special and the most favorite destination. It is a good idea to enjoy the local food from the food joints here!

Apart from these, there are many other places that you can enjoy in Vancouver. Vancouver has beautiful beaches which are the best choice for everyone to spend a warm day. 

Also, you can visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens and parks, go on sight-seeing or whale-watching tours, and enjoy water sports. Wherever you go, please make sure to plan your trip well in advance to avoid any last-minute hassles!
