Latest BC PNP Tech Pilot Draw Invites 74 Immigration Candidates

Skilled workers are more than welcome in Canada. Students who have IT skills have a tremendous opportunity to apply for permanent residence in Canada via British Columbia Province Nominee Program. BC PNP Tech Pilot, launched in May 2017, attracts skilled tech workers from around the world. British Columbia is developing the local talent with the highest quality by expanding training in technology and education in post-secondary institutions and providing job opportunities. BC PNP Tech Pilot offers a fast-tracked immigration pathway for people with tech skills applying for Permanent Residence. 

Eligible Occupations for the BC PNP Tech Pilot

Here is the complete list of the 29 in-demand tech occupations under BC PNP Tech Pilot – Download the PDF. When applying to the BC PNP, the job offer of the applicant must be for at least one year (365 days), and the job offer must have at least 120 days remaining at the time of application. 

Since the time of Tech Pilot launch in May 2017, 4,200 tech workers were nominated applying for permanent residence in British Columbia. The Tech Pilot helps the technology sectors attract and retain talents to sustain and grow further.

Latest BC PNP Tech Pilot Draw

The latest BC PNP Tech Pilot draw, September 22, 2020, invited 74 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residence. This BC PNP Tech Pilot issued invitations under the Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) categories. The selected candidates were from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate sub-categories, and the minimum score needed was 80.
